Throwing Lead is a resource for shooters in the NYC area. Here you will find information on New York City gun laws, obtaining a firearm permit, getting involved in recreational shooting, as well as proper gun safety and maintenance.
The resources here are provided “as is.” I am not necessarily an expert in all things related to firearms, nor do I offer any legal advice. This site is simply a repository for the materials I found interesting or useful as I learned to shoot. Most of the materials here have been culled from other sources, and some have been reproduced without the original author’s permission.
